| In
addition to meeting with renal investigators during the 3rd World Congress
of Nephrology in Singapore,
Count Marcov was active in studying the possibility of expanding the Tropinin
exhibition to Asia. In this regard, a meeting with Mrs Loh Chew Min, marketing
executive and Mrs Ma Joselina Cruz assistant curator, took place at the
Singapore Art Museum. This officers have offered full cooperation to further
explore the idea of a Tropinin exhibition in the museum. On June 28th, a very cordial meeting took place at the Ukrainian Embassy where H.E. Dr. Oleksandr Horin Ambassador and Mr. Serhiy Yefanov, Second Secretary have kept a very useful conversation with Count Marcov. The President of the Rotary Club of Singapore Mr. Manik R. Shahani meet to Count Marcov at the very exclusive Tanglin Club where some other members were introduced to him and the possible participation of Rotary Club in the exhibition was analyzed. Count Marcov visit also included a night Safari, a river tour and a rendezvous in the Armenian Church (the first Christian church in Singapore) were he was received by the trustee and treasurer Mr Greg Basmadjian. |
